It's time.
Blogs... when they're as personal as mine can be... when they talk about relationships and fears and life and love... are not a good idea for adults, unless the writer's real identity is kept a complete secret. Which mine is not.
Nothing happened this time. To me, anyway. But I read other people's and can't help but wonder how they get away with being so intimate, publicly, when they're supposed to be respected in the professional world - even if they're grad students or are otherwise relatively low-profile.
I learned my lesson once and don't want to have to learn it again. So I'm moving to LiveJournal again, where I can control who can and who cannot read what I write. Posts will be friends-only when personal, and public when not. Feel free to change or delete your links as you wish.
